A Love Turned Festival: The Wedding of Verania and Bernardo

Love, that feeling that unites kindred souls, led Verania Echaide and Bernardo Huerta on a journey full of romance, surprises, and music. Their story began at a Darwin exhibition, where their passion for biology sparked the flame that ignited an unforgettable love story.

Bernardo's proposal was a masterpiece of romance. During Verania's work trip to Dubai, Bernardo surprised her with an engagement ring during a nighttime picnic in the middle of the desert. It marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, characterized by love and complicity.

With the wedding in mind, Verania and Bernardo sought something unique and original. This is how they found in La Puta Suegra the perfect ally to capture their essence in every detail. From the first meeting, they knew they had found a creative team that would understand their vision and take it to new heights.

The choice of venue, Proyecto Público PRIM in Mexico City, was a tribute to their passion for architecture and design. From the first moment, they knew it was the perfect setting for their wedding, with its restored Porfirian charm capturing their love for the city.

The wedding concept, inspired by a 70s music festival, was a manifestation of their love for music and fun. With the help of La Puta Suegra, they managed to blend the rebelliousness of rock with a refined and sophisticated style, creating a unique and immersive atmosphere that transported their guests to another era.

The decor was a fundamental aspect of creating the desired ambiance. From tables decorated with glass domes containing fake spiders to the crooked candelabras adorning the hallway, every element was designed to surprise and captivate their guests. The room next to the bar, decorated in the style of the 1920s, was one of the highlights of the night, where guests enjoyed delicious cocktails inspired by the couple’s personalities, courtesy of their bartender friend, Mafer Tejada.
