A Memorable Moment in Cádiz: Sharing the Stage with Wedding Professionals at TopBoda Congress
Yesterday, on October 21st, I had the incredible opportunity to give a talk at the Wedding Professionals Congress in Cádiz, surrounded by industry experts like Sira Antequera, Rodolfo Mcartney, Dani Aragón, Mickey Pavon, and Iñaki Lungarán. It was an honor to share this stage with such respected names and to feel so warmly welcomed by the audience.
A Receptive and Engaged Audience
The energy in the room was electric. The attendees were eager to listen, engage, and learn, creating an atmosphere that was both supportive and inspiring. Throughout my talk, I could sense how invested the audience was in the future of the wedding industry. Their enthusiasm fueled my own passion as I shared the journey of La Puta Suegra.
Sharing Our Story: From Humble Beginnings to the Present
During my conference, I walked the audience through the evolution of La Puta Suegra. I reminisced about how we started with a vision of shaking up the wedding industry, and how that vision has led us to where we are today. One of the key points I emphasized was how our core values and dedication to what we call the "Triple AAA" (a concept that encapsulates our approach to creativity, authenticity, and audacity) have been fundamental to our success.
I shared how our team’s commitment to breaking conventions, thinking outside the box, and constantly challenging the status quo has allowed us to create weddings that are as unique as the couples we work with. Every decision, every design, and every venue we choose is crafted to tell a story that is personal and deeply meaningful.
The Future of Weddings: What’s Next?
Looking ahead, I touched on the future of weddings and how I believe the sector will evolve in the coming years. Weddings are no longer about following strict traditions but about creating personalized, immersive experiences that reflect the couple's true identities. Technology will continue to play a bigger role, with virtual planning tools and sustainable options becoming more popular. Couples will seek more intimate, unconventional locations, and as wedding planners, we’ll need to be more innovative and flexible than ever.
I emphasized that it’s not just about trends, but about understanding the emotional and personal aspects that go into planning a wedding. Couples are increasingly wanting their special day to be an authentic reflection of who they are, and this means we must continue to evolve, staying ahead of the curve while keeping our core principles intact.
Grateful for the Opportunity
I feel incredibly fortunate to have been a part of this Congress, to share my thoughts on the evolving wedding industry, and to connect with so many brilliant and kind-hearted professionals. Meeting industry peers like Sira, Rodolfo, Dani, Mickey, and Iñaki was an absolute pleasure, and I walked away from the event feeling inspired by their knowledge and passion.
A huge thank you to Andrés and Top Boda for the invitation and for organizing such a fantastic event. It was an experience I will carry with me for a long time, and I’m excited to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of weddings.
This event has been a reminder of how lucky we are to be in such a creative and evolving industry. I look forward to seeing where the future takes us and continuing to create unforgettable moments for the amazing couples we have the honor of working with. Thank you once again to everyone who made this day so special!
