Santa Rita was a fascinating journey that began in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when Nandu Jubany and La Puta Suegra team had a conversation that gave life to the project. Nandu, after acquiring extensive lands in Viladrau, an entire mountain with thousands of hectares of wild forest and a ruined house inhabited by farmers.

The first phase, called Catalassian, took place on Friday and was inspired by a gastronomic fusion between Catalan and Asian cuisine. Located in the middle of the vast forest, it offered an atmosphere that seemed to transport an Asian space with Catalan touches, from black sausage dumplings to other creative delights. On Saturday, the main celebration unfolded in various places in the forest, allowing for a more open and free experience.

The general concept of Santa Rita is rooted in a return to primitivism, where the connection with nature and the most basic instincts is celebrated. From the choice of food to the planned activities, everything points to an experience that breaks with formality and embraces the raw essence of humanity. Moreover, the project's name, Santa Rita, in honor of the patron saint of impossible causes, adds a touch of mysticism and hope to this unique experience.

In summary, Santa Rita is not just an event, but a bold experiment that challenges conventions and invites us to reconnect with our primitive nature while celebrating love and life. With collaborations from designers like Santos Costura and brands like Serena Whiteheaven, the event promises a visually stunning and conceptually rich experience. From the decorative elements to the planned activities, every detail has been meticulously designed to take attendees on a journey of discovery and authenticity. Ultimately, Santa Rita is more than a celebration; it is a manifesto of freedom, creativity, and connection with the earth and with each other.
